Kodak Brownie Starflash Camera

The Kodak Brownie Starflash was designed by Arthur H. Crapsey who also designed many other well know Kodak cameras. It was a small and portable camera. The Kodak Brownie Star series was in production from 1957 to 1965 in the US and France and had a large built-in flashgun. It came in various colors. The red color camera was in production from March 1958 to October 1960, the white from March 1958 to August 1962, blue from March 1958 to Feb 1962. There was a promotional with a Coca-Cola logo from October 1959 to December 1961. The French made version was available in white, black, grey or blue. The picture size is 1 5/8 X 1 5/8" and film size is 127. The prize of the original camera was $8.50.
