IBM Vacuum Tube
This is an IBM (International Business Machines) vacuum tube with model number 7036 manufactured by General Electric (GE) in 1959. It has 7 pins, pentagrid amplifier tube that is similar to a 5915 except has a taller envelope. Overall heights 67mm. GE also called the 7036 a gated amplifier. When grids 1 and 3 are at zero volts the tube conducts, when either grid is negative the tube does not conduct.
