Bill Curry was a designer, an ad man, and an industrial designer. Also a graduate from Art Center, he founded the Design Line, Inc. in El Segundo in 1963, along with his wife Jacquelyn.
Bill Murray died in 1971 at the age of 43. Jacquelyn remarried, and tried with her new husband to keep Design Line, Inc. going. Design Line, Inc. was a company whose values were imbedded in the 1960s, and the decade of the 1970s was not very open to such a company. Jacquelyn and her husband had to eventually pick up whatever was remaining of the inventory call it a day. Design Line, Inc. closed operations in 1977. Jacquelyn passed away a few years, in 1985.
